Hi eveyone, this is our Blog for the C2C which we start next Monday 4th June 2007.
Thanks David for letting us use what is basically an alias on your Blog site. When we get used to it we may even post a few photos !
Today is a rainy day in Jersey and we are in an internet cafe waiting for our washing to finish. .... Well you can't expect every day to be full of excitement can you ?
Went to Jersey zoo yesterday which was a longtime wish of Goody's and it lived up to expectations. Then we meandered about the rugged Jersey coastline. ( once we got off the narrow roads which are definitely pedestrian unfriendly ). Had a Jersey beer and a cup of tea at Bouley bay looking down on a cobalt blue bay enjoying the sunshine and homecooked biscuits straight from the french chef's oven. Hmmm.... going to need that walk to walk off some of these calories we have been taking on the last few days.
We met Nicole and Jody Henzen's schoolfriends and parents for dinner last night and enjoyed a great meal and chat. I think they were pleased to talk to a couple of aussies and especially about Oz.
Taye , Eileen , Warren , Ryan and Diesel Bathgate.
This afternoon we are venturing forth into the rain or whatever is served up to explore more of the north coast.
Tomorrow we head to Poole (UK) to meet Maylin and David.
